A Needle and a Silver Spoon
A Needle and A Silver Spoon
(She Came in Through The Bathroom Window)
(She Came in Through The Bathroom Window)
She came in
through the bathroom window,
With a needle and a silver spoon.
Protected by the haze and thunder,
She always got her fix by noon.
Didn't anybody
tell her?
Didn't anybody see?
Sundays on the streets, she’d wander,
Searching for a place to be
She said she'd
always stay the clean one,
But everyone knew that wasn't true.
She promised she’d escape the nightmare,
But she was too far gone to break through.
And so she
sank into the shadows,
Lost her grip on reality,
Caught up in the endless battle,
Her mind was never really free.
Didn't anybody
tell her?
Didn't anybody see?
Sundays on the streets, she’d wander,
Searching for a place to be
