Then came a voice only I could hear

Schizophrenia had a hold on me
She asked me to stay
But I just couldn’t cope
So I looked around

Schizophrenia, my mind’s on a wild ride
Nowhere to hide
Don’t you know can’t you comprehend
I’ll never mend
Faces in the mirror
So many to see but which is me
A shattered puzzle
Psychosis sets in, troubling me
Please doctor can’t you prescribe for me
These pills set me free
To ease my fears
And
quell the voices I hear
