From The Duty Nurse

From The Duty Nurse

(Across The Universe)

Pills are flowing out like rainbow skittles from a paper cup

They slither wildly as they slip their way from the Duty Nurse

Pills of yellow, pills of white are drifting through my opened mind

Possessing and caressing me

Jai guru deva, om

Drugs are gonna save my world

Drugs are gonna save my world

Drugs are gonna save my world

Drugs are gonna save my world

Images of broken light which dance before me from suppositories

Shoved up me by the Duty Nurse

Depressed resistance treated with Dexamethasone

Injected daily as they stumble from the Duty Nurse

Jai guru deva, om

Drugs are gonna save my world

Drugs are gonna save my world

Drugs are gonna save my world

Drugs are gonna save my world

Pills at bedtime save my life are bringing

Sleep through which my open ears and open eyes are closing

Limitless unending drugs which shine around me like a million suns

They call me on and from the Duty Nurse

Jai guru deva, om

Drugs are gonna save my world

Drugs are gonna save my world

Drugs are gonna save my world

Drugs are gonna save my world

Jai guru deva

Jai guru deva

Jai guru deva

Jai guru deva

Jai guru deva

Jai guru deva
