Cry Baby Cry

Cry Baby Cry

(Cry Baby Cry)

Cry baby cry

Make your mother sigh

You know I’m a real bed wetter

I was living in a nursing home

Just off Strickland Street

The nurse was in the bedroom

Making up my bed with plastic sheets

Cry baby cry

Make your mother sigh

You know I’m a real  bed wetter

So cry baby cry

Sometime in the bathroom

I was putting on a fresh pair of Depends

For the nurse had told me

I was going to get a visit from friends .

Cry baby cry

Make your mother sigh

You know I’m a real bed wetter

So, cry baby cry

The other residents were always smiling

And arriving late for tea

While I was having problems

With a leaking bladder always leaking pee

Cry baby cry

Make your mother sigh

You know I’m a real  bed wetter

So cry baby cry

At four o'clock a meeting round the table

For it’s time for tea

It’s not appetizing

Only gruel and mash and mushy peas.

Cry baby cry

Make your mother sigh

You know I’m  a real  bed wetter

So cry baby cry cry cry cry baby

Make your mother sigh

You know I’m a real  bed wetter

Cry baby cry, cry, cry,cry

Make your mother sigh

You know I’m a real  bed wetter

So, cry baby cry
