Oh, you know it’s Mother’s Day

Second Sunday of May

And they’re gathering with their Grans in nursing homes

Oh, the family couldn’t find her

But the nurses couldn’t be kinder

To their aging Gran on Mother’s Day

 

But the food it was gruel

They served us too

 

Eight fifty a week was their pay
