New Tech's No Good

And when I was young

I had such fun without technology

And there was no gloom

Just as it should, new tech’s no good

 

Then computers came

With promise and full of fanfare

So I looked around

And I noticed them popping up everywhere

 

I tried my laptop couldn’t get online

So I let out a whine

We tried until two and then she said

"It's time for bed"

 

She told me she’d text

In the morning before she’d had her bath

I told her I didn't

Have a cell phone and started to laugh

 

Where is the tape deck, it’s all new tech.

What’s MP3's by heck

So I threw up my hands

Just as it should, new tech’s no good.
